The Popular Game “Call of Duty” will be available on Nintendo Switch based on new Microsoft 10 year deal

Microsoft has signed a new 10-year agreement to make the well-known Call of Duty game available on capable Nintendo Consoles.

According to claims from various media publications, Microsoft will pay $68.7 billion to acquire Activision Blizzard, which also produces Warcraft and Overwatch.

Microsoft would make it possible for Call of Duty to not be available on competing platforms like Sony’s Playstation 5 if the agreement is successfully completed.

According to Microsoft President Brad Smith, short-term goals would diminish game competitiveness, thus long-term goals are what we want to pursue.

The CMA has launched investigation into the deal and their spokesperson said that they are aware about the developments folding up will monitor it.

“We are aware of these developments and will continue to monitor the competitive landscape throughout our investigation” CMA Spokesperson said.

In the past, Sony has been a vociferous opponent of this agreement because they think it is bad for gamers and ultimately bad for the gaming industry.

The Call of Duty game, which was last offered on Nintendo consoles in 2013, would reappear if this agreement is effectively carried out.

The head of Microsoft’s Xbox gaming division, Phil Spencer, announced that Call of Duty would always be accessible on PC via Stem.

Additionally, there would need to be hardware requirements for later releases of this game for the Stem Deck.
