Former Indian Skipper Saurav Ganguly, commented on the current protest by wrestlers in New Delhi and said that the issue should be handled. However, he refrained to offer any other insight until he had more information. The wrestlers, who are protesting in the nation’s capital, have accused Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh of sexual harassment.
They have been requesting criminal charges be brought against Uttar Pradesh-based BJP lawmaker Brij Bhushan for allegedly harassing and intimidating seven female wrestlers, one of them is a juvenile.
Let them handle their own battle. I only read the news to keep up with what’s going on there. In the world of sports, I’ve learned one important lesson: you shouldn’t discuss topics you don’t fully understand. This is what Ganguly stated in an event, according to a video posted on Twitter by PTI.

“I thus hope it should get resolved. The wrestlers have excelled at international competitions and given honour to the nation. I hope it gets addressed,” he continued.
Since April 23, the wrestlers have been sitting in protest.
However, the Supreme Court ended the case after hearing a petition from three female wrestlers who had accused Brij Bhushan of sexual harassment. The court noted that FIRs had been filed and that the seven complainants had received appropriate security.
Olympic bronze medalist Sakshi Malik remarked, “We respect the Supreme Court order, protest will continue.”
“Supreme Court order is not a setback, it did what it could in this matter,” she continued.
