In his opening remarks at India Energy Week 2023, PM Modi said that India is currently the best country to invest in the energy sector. According to projections, the country’s energy demand will expand at the quickest rate in the world over the following ten years.

He added that a network of more than 6 lakh km of optical fibre has been installed to give villages access to the internet. According to the Prime Minister, the number of internet connections has tripled and there are now 13 times as many broadband users in India as there were nine years ago.
