NBA Finals: Lakers dominant win over Heat in Game 1 of NBA Finals

LeBron James finally got trouble-free Game 1 in the NBA Finals. Anthony Davis scored 34 in his Finals Game 1 in NBA Finals, James had 25 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists and the Lakers rushed past the Heat 116-98 in Game-2.

Danny Green had 11, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 13 for the Lakers. They are in the Finals for the first time in 10 years.

“We kind of picked it up on both ends of the floor,” Davis said.

“The bigger the moment, he’s just raising his play,” Lakers coach Frank Vogel said about Davis.

Jimmy Butler fought through a tough lakers game to score 23 for Miami. Heat lost their in-form point guard Goran Dragic at halftime to a left foot injury and All-Star centre Bam Adebayo left in the third quarter after seemingly aggravating a left shoulder problem.

According to reports, Dragic was verified with a torn plantar fascia in his left foot, which endanger his availableness for the rest of the series.

From the bench, Kendrick Nunn scored 18 for the Heat, Tyler Herro had 14 and Jae Crowder 12. Adebayo was held to eight points in 21 minutes and after second-quarter LeBron and co. went for 75- 30 run score.

“You can learn so much more from a win than you can in a loss,” James said.

“I can’t wait for (Thursday) for us to get back together and watch the film and see ways we can be better.”

The Lakers out-rebounded Miami 54-36, led by as many as 32 points and made 15 3-pointers — a big number for a team that doesn’t necessarily count on piling up points from beyond the arc.

“We’re much better than we showed tonight,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said.

“You have to credit the Lakers, and we’ll get to work for the next one.”
