Lakers find a way to hold off Heat to take 3-1 lead in NBA finals

Two years back, LeBron led his former childhood club, Cleveland Cavaliers back from that same situation during a final between Cavaliers Golden State Warriors. once again he’s in the same situation but he needs to prevent comeback after helping the Los Angeles Lakers to a 3-1 lead against the Miami Heat in the 2020 NBA Finals.

LeBron James overcame a slow start and Anthony Davis made a late block on as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Miami Heat 102-96 in game 4 to take a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals.

The Miami team put a stop to the Lakers in a back-and-forth second quarter and the Heat went into the break down two points after Herro’s jumper went in just before halftime.

In the first half, James scored just 8 points and made  5 turnovers, But LeBron woke up in second half and finishing second half with 28 points after the Heat tied the game 83-83 with 6:22 left to play.

The Lakers got a deep squad and in-game 4 lakers bench came up clutch, including 15 points from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and five assists and seven rebounds from Rajon Rondo.

“It felt like a Finals game. It felt like both teams were desperate, understanding the situation they had both put themselves in,”James said.

“Trying to get every extra possession, execute offensively, trying not to make mistakes defensively – that’s what it was all about. And we needed every second from our bench and our starters to get this win.”

James said he was already thinking about Friday’s Game Five. “We understand what’s at stake. The job is not done,” he added. “I look forward to the next match.”
