Through the press conference, the embassy was able to express issues regarding Krafton and other Korean companies in India. There were reporters present at this event and the embassy was answering questions asked by them.

Most of these questions were more on the political lines, but eventually the embassy did answer questions regarding Krafton and BGMI. Independent rep. Kim Hong-Gul first spoke on the topic, stating that the Indian market has great potential and many Korean companies have entered it, but as the number of companies have increased, the number of difficulties have too.

Ambassadors Chang Jae-bok also chimed in on the topic. Chang Jae-bok stated that the reason why India blocked the title was issues regarding cyber security breaches and violence in games. Chang added stating the previous iteration of the game was serviced by a Chinese company, Tencent, in the past. But, there are still concerns in India about the game being serviced by a Chinese company, and the embassy is trying to resolve it.
