He will also not participate in the second half of the cash-rich league which is scheduled in the month of September as the reason for his exclusion is his elbow injury which he is facing for a while now and it seems that it will take much more time than anticipated to recover from that blow.

This will be a big blow for England as their star all-rounder Ben stokes has take an indefinite break from cricket to recover from Mental health issue.

The persistent elbow injury hasn’t allowed Archer to play regular cricket since the last year. His wound deteriorated even further over the course of the five-match T20I series against India earlier this year. This even forced him to pull out of the now-postponed IPL 2021. Archer subsequently underwent surgery and made a brief return in May.

However, England team management will be praying for his prime bowler recovery as he has been the cornerstone of their bowling attack since making his International debut in 2019. Within this limited time period he has registered himself as one of the best death bowlers in the world especially in limited over squad in that reference his absence in the T20 World Cup will impact the English bowling attack a lot.

At times, he has also helped the Three Lions with his batting blitzes lower the order. Speaking of his numbers, Archer has 42, 30, and 17 wickets in 13 Tests, 17 ODIs, and 14 T20Is. Hence, it would be interesting to how much his absence will dent the Three Lions in their upcoming assignments.

As of now, they are playing against India for a five-match series which will also mark the resumption of second cycle of the World Test Championship with the first one currently played at Trent Bridge.
