Indian premier league (IPL) considered the biggest t-20 league is going to start soon. This new season of ipl is back to its original home after a four years long gap. Fans will be able to see the opening ceremony of the Indian premier league after a long gap of four years due to covid. The opening ceremony was taken down due to the restrictions the covid had caused. Now that the covid has gone and lives have returned to normal again, IPL is all set to host its ceremony at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad Gujarat on the 31st of march. Although the ceremony will take place for one hour, it will evoke the interest of millions of fans as the league is back to its own home.

The women’s premier league has also organized its ceremony but has received a mixed response as it lacked stars. However, the women’s premier league is enjoyed by fans as it has grabbed the attention of cricket fans. Wpl is indeed a revolutionary league for women that is likely to run parallel to the Indian premier league.

IPL is going to start on the 31st of march. A total of 10 teams will be seen playing in this edition of the Indian premier league. The teams have been categorized into two groups – Group-A and Group – B. Group contains teams like Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow SuperGiants. Whereas Group -B has 5 teams – Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans.

The final will be played on the 28th of May. Games in this ipl will be played in the country and abroad. In the first match of this season of IPL, Defending champions Gujarat Titans will take on Chennai Super Kings on March 31.
