Big Breaking: Olympian Javelin Thrower Shivpal Singh fails in Dope Test might be banned for 8 years
Olympic Javelin Player Shivpal Singh has failed a dope test and it happened for the second time due to which he might get banned for a period of 8 years.
The 29 year old Javelin star who competed in Tokyo 2020 Olympics for India and showcase glimpses of doing wonder for Men in Blue is facing major jolt post this incident.
Based on latest development, He is learned to returned positive with a banning substance it was predicted based on urine sample collected via his test where he was training at NIS Patiala.
Based on further reports, he has been provisionally suspended for now confirmed by National Anti Doping Agency.
“Yes he has taken banned substance and it has happened twice and it is his second dope offence ” said source close to NADA.
If he is found guilty in further reports, he might have to face lengthy ban.

Based on WADA(World Anti Doping Agency) and NADA(National Anti Doping Agency) an athlete who is found guilty for second time might face maximum ban upto 8 years.
His best achievement as player came in 2019 where he won Silver medal in Asian Championships in Doha where he threw Javelin at a distance of 86.23 m.
In one of the competitive he was found under the influence of doping sample in 2021 however he was suppose to serve ban till 4 years but Appeal Panel of National Anti Doping Agency(NADA) stated contaminated samples were there behind his flunked dope test.
The Appeal Panel in 2023, gave their verdict in favor of Shivpal where his 4 year ban was reduced to 1 year only and he retuned back in action at National Inter- State Championships in Bhubneshwar .
In the same year, he clinched gold medal at National Games held in Goa.
Shivpal with his amazing height, perfect release angles could have done wonders but till the time full report is not all further speculations would not make any sense.
