Ayush Shetty Lifts US Open Super 300 Trophy, Keeps India’s Badminton Hopes High

Indian Shuttler Ayush Shetty displayed amazing transformation in his game where he brought laurels for the country and kept all ardent Badminton Fans on Sky High where he clinched US Open Super 300 Title in America on Sunday.

The Karnataka Player who just won his maiden BWF Title, where he dialed his father Ram Prakash Shetty who was patiently waiting for the call of his son and the victory brought charm in Indian Badminton ecosystem where they have failed to witness top notch results in last 1-2 years.

This victory was much needed as Indian Badminton have some of the best players in last few years including the likes of- PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen, HS Pranoy, Satwik Sairaj Ranki reddy and Chirag Shetty. 

.His victory against 21-18, 21-13 win over Canada’s Brian Yang in the final might look straight sets but it was case of grit and persistence during the 47 minute clash and he is product of Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy and he brushed off a cut on his right knee and didn’t stop him chasing down the total and win this contest.

“This Title means a lot, Feels great to win my first one. I hope to deliver his form in the remainder of the season and grab more titles” Ayush said while talking to distinct media outlets before boarding flight to Canada where he would be playing his next match.

He is an attacking player and solid net game, and we have seen influencer in early exchanges and strongest defensive play which would come under handy, the moment he was seen lacking in few moments of the game, he tweaked his game with his powerful half smashes where he literally dominated opposition on the fore.

The 6 Feet 4 Inches Player carried out momentum in 1st set to gather momentarily in 2nd Set, and ultimately dominating the opposition tempting the comeback in the game.

He is an attacking player with a solid net game, combining finesse with ferocity in every rally. From the very start, he influenced the tempo of the match with quick footwork and strong defensive positioning. His anticipation in the early exchanges forced his opponent into errors and showcased his mental composure under pressure.
