WWE SummerSlam 2019 Results: The biggest party of summer i.e., Summerslam held at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Known as one of the most iconic pay-per-views in sports entertainment, witnessed some most shocking and memorable moments, Summerslam always loved.

The biggest WWE party was kicked off by the Rated R Superstar Edge with his electrifying presence in the ring. He delivered his iconic spear to silence Elias, adding the moment in the book list of Summerslam biggest memories.

In all twelve matches held at Summerslam, seven titles competed on Sunday, and only one changed hands in the main event of the show.

First Match- Becky Lynch vs Natalya – Raw Women’s
The event was started with a submission match between Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Natalya. However, Natalya lost the match after Lynch applied Dis-arm-her, forcing her to submit to retain the title.

Second Match- Goldberg vs Dolph Ziggler
WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg, who returned on Raw last week to challenge Dolph Ziggler as his next, turned out as ‘his next’ at Summerslam. Ziggler tried to put Golberg down with his superkicks, however, delivered a Spear followed by a Jackhammer on Ziggler to win the match in under two minutes.

Third Match- AJ Styles vs Ricochet- US Championship
The Phenomenal AJ Styles defended his US Championship against Ricochet. However, Styles countered his Phoenix Splash into a Styles Clash to retain the title at Summerslam.

Fourth Match- Bayley vs Ember Moon- SmackDown Women’s Championship
SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley locked the horns with Ember Moon for the championship at Summerslam. In the end, Bayley performed a Bayley-to-belly from the top rope on Moon to retain the title.

Fifth Match- Kevin Owens vs Shane Mc Mahon
Popularly known as the second to Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kevin Owens’s career was on the line at Summerslam. He battled against ‘The Best in the World’ Shane Mc Mahon. With the start of the match, Elias was introduced as a ringside enforcer. Owens tried to deliver pop-up powerbomb to put Shane down, however, he countered with a DDT for a near fall. In the end, Owens performed a low blow and stunner on Shane to win the match and saved him from being fired from WWE.

Sixth Match- Charlotte vs Trish Stratus
Queen Charlotte battled against WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus in a singles match at Summerslam. Stratus delivered her own figure-four leglock on Flair followed by the figure-eight. However, Trish submitted to the figure-eight leg-lock by Flair to win the match.

Seventh Match- Kofi Kingston vs Randy Orton- WWE Championship
WWE Champion Kofi Kingston defended his title against The Viper Randy Orton at Summerslam. Orton delivered some merciless moves to Kingston including an RKO in mid-air. However, Kingston managed to retain the title after both were counted out.  Following the match, Kingston continued to beat down Orton for attempting to go after his family at ringside.

Eight Match- Bray Wyatt ‘The Fiend’ vs Finn Bálor
Summerslam 2019 witnessed the return of Bray Wyatt to the WWE as ‘The Fiend’. Finn Bálor faced off against Bray Wyatt, however, ‘The Fiend’ reversed Coup de Grace into a Mandible Claw, causing Bálor to lose the match at the biggest party of the summer.

Ninth Match- Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins- WWE Universal Championship
WWE Universe witnessed the most-awaited battle of The Architect Seth Rollins and The Beast Brock Lesnar for WWE Universal Championship at Summerslam. Both the competitors locked horns in a destructive mode as Rollins delivered a superkick and The Stomp for a near fall, whereas Lesnar took him to Supplex City once again. In the end, Rollins countered Lesnar’s second F-5 by his third Stomp on Lesnar to regain the title for a second time.

Three Summerslam matches took place in the pre-show, just hours before the kickoff show began. Drew Gulak defended the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Oney Lorcan. In the end, Gulak performed an Argentine Neckbreaker to retain the title.

Buddy Murphy battled against Apollo Crews. In the end, Murphy was attacked by Rowan, helped Murphy to win via disqualification.

In the final pre-show match, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce). In the end, Bliss delivered Twisted Bliss on Royce to retain the title.
