In the first test match at VCA Stadium, Australia won the toss, elected to bat first, and put in a score of 177. Marnus Labuschagne scored 49 runs in 123 balls as Jadeja took five wickets and gave away 47 runs. Captain Rohit Sharma played a beautiful knock, scoring 120 runs in 212 balls and smashing two 15 fours and two sixes.
On the other side, Australian spinners Murphy and Lyon pulled things back first. He took the wicket of Virat Kohli right on the money and took the door. In the end, India won by 132 runs.
In the second test match at Arun Jetly Stadium, in the first innings, Usman Khawaja scored 81 runs in 125 balls, but Mohammed Shami took four wickets along with Ashwin’s three. After Australia got out in the first innings, when India came out to bat, Axer Patel scored 74 runs in 115 balls, along with Nathan Lyon, who took five Indian wickets. When India got out in the second innings, Jadeja came out to bowl. He took seven wickets for India, and in the losing controversy, India Six won by six wickets.
It was tough to digest for Australia. The controversy was on the pitch, but after losing arguments in the first two test matches, Steven Smith took charge of the captaincy, and they fought hard and won the particular test match by nine wickets. And the last test match ended in a draw.
