What is the Delhi Future stars? A new initiative taken to improve Football at the Capital region.

The Education Directorate of New Delhi government in partnership with the Delhi Soccer Association and tech giants HCL are coming up with an new initiative called Delhi Future Stars which aims to transform the condition of Football in the National capital.

This concept aims to improve the development of the Beautiful game in the national capital region. It will open up the doors for not just youth players but also to those who are wanting to build a future in Coaching. And that will create job opportunities for not just the players but also for coaches.

An official press release informed all of us about the same. The Delhi Future Stars will empower 3 leagues: Delhi School League, Delhi Youth League and the Delhi Grassroots league. The events will start from October 30 onwards and it will give exposure to more than 6000 players and more than 350 teams will participate in it.

The project will give comprehensive support to improve the infrastructure and resources of Football in Delhi. It is also going to create a thorough eco system within school premises in order to help the students understand the basics of football so that they can excel.

More than 9 Lakhs of audience will be involved in it from students to teachers to academies. 35 different venues have been selected to organize the matches in and around Delhi-NCR.
