Paris Gaint Germain’s recent 5-0 win over Montpellier didn’t have a decent result post-match as boss Thomas Tuchel confronted Mbappe, while Mbappe wasn’t happy either after being substituted in the 68th minute of the Parc des Princes.

What resulted was a heated conversation between the two after the match.

In a recent press conference, Tuchel said, “There is nothing personal between Mbappe and I. I know he doesn’t want to be subbed off. It’s normal, but I also want to give minutes to those on the bench.

“I don’t think what happened on Saturday will make Mbappe leave the club. He is our player and he has a contract.

“I am sure that the dressing room understands my decisions. The game was over. We were winning 5-0. Fear? I don’t make my decisions with fear.”

mbappe and tuchelTuchel added: “If I wanted to be a politician, I would have worked in politics.”

The two had a serious face-off after the coach replaces him for Mauro Icardi and the Tuchel had to hold on to Mbappe just so he doesn’t walk away.

While Mbappe, on the other hand, appeared to be upset about the decision as in the current season, the 21-year-old has 22 goals and 13 assists in 25 appearances. And the numbers are motivating the youngster to continue to soar them.

The clubs have still seven more matches to play this month, with 12 points clear in Ligue 1.

This season would be an exciting one, as the 2017-18 league wasn’t in the club’s favor with Madrid pulling them out. Followed by the last season’s failure where Neymar and Cavani were unable to get numbers. Hence PSG would be looking into decision making that might sound unworthy but would do whatever it takes to make it to the top.
