In one of the proudest moment for the country in recent memory, after climbing the peak of Elbrus, Malavath unfurled an Indian flag 50 feet long, and sang the Indian National Anthem. Malavath Poorna was born on 10th June, 2000, a day hailed as the birthday of one of the greatest Indian Mountaineers. She was born in Nizamabad, Telangana, a region that recognises her as one of the greatest mountaineers in Telangana History.

She was educated in the Telangana Social Welfare Residential School.

Before attempting difficult climbs, one requires mountaineering knowledge, and Malavath attained her’s from Himalayan Mountaineering Institute in Darjeeling, which is known as one of the best Mountaineering schools in the entirety of India.

Everest: Her most famous climb till date, Malavath is known for having climbed Everest at a young age that no other girl has tried in history. This makes her one of the most famous Mountaineers in history, as she holds the world record of being the youngest girl in the world to have climbed MT. Everest. Kilimanjaro: After being the youngest girl in the world to have climbed MT. Everest, she went on to climb MT. Kilimanjaro, which is recognized all over the world as one of the toughest climbs in the world, and quite certainly one that requires some of the best reflexes and skill in the world. After some preparation, Malavath went on to become one of the youngest people in the world to have climbed MT. Kilimanjaro in 2016.
