Team India kicked off the Border-Gavaskar series with a victory over the Kangaroos, outscoring them by an innings and 132 runs.

In the upcoming series against Australia, India’s top performers were Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ashwin.

Jadeja, who had been out of the game for six months, was making an incredible recovery.

With his efficient 5fers in the second innings, Ashwin came back strongly and hit the milestone of 450 test wickets.

Rohit Sharma displayed exceptional skill with the willow, scoring 120 runs on a pitch that the same Australian hitters were unable to apply.

Axar and Jadeja supported Sharma at the other end, as India scored 400 runs in the second innings.

In contrast, the Kangaroos scored 177 runs in each of their two innings combined.

Only Steve Smith put up his full effort; everyone else was unable to apply their batting skills.

They will play again starting on February 17, 2023, in Delhi, where spinners will likely have an advantage due to recent history. Australian batters will need to put in a lot of effort if they want to win this game.

The third Test match between India and Australia was supposed to be held in Dharmshala between 1st -5th March 2023, but based on the report from insidesport, outfield is not ready.

The match is all set to be scheduled to Mohali if HPCA(Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association) failed to make outfield ready on time.

The match will be handed over to PCA stadium Mohali also BCCI inspection team will investigate Dharamshala on 12th Feburary to make final decision.

Their Ranji Team Himachal played their game in Dharmshala but if the outfield is not prepared on time. HPCA will lose the hosting and it will be eventually handed to PCA.

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is regarded as one of the best trophies in Test cricket, and new rivalries that have emerged between these two teams have attracted a lot of attention. On Australian soil, Men in Blue have recently won two Test series.

Australia declined to play a practise match in India, which is perhaps the worst move they could have made given that the circumstances there favour heavy spin bowling as opposed to Australia’s preference for quick bowlers.
