India has already amassed 273 runs as of the time I am writing this, losing 7 wickets, with Jadeja currently batting on 53 and Axar supporting him from the other end with 17 runs.

India now has a lead of 100 runs, and given the nature of the wicket, which is moving at even angles even on the second day of the test match, they would like to increase that lead to at least 150+ runs.

In these circumstances, any score of less than 250 will be a good total to pursue.

Jadeja was on the road to recuperation and rehabilitation, so scoring big runs and getting wickets following his comeback wasn’t simple.
