Mickey Arthur will reportedly be named the senior men’s national team’s “online coach” by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), according to reports. According to reports, Arthur will serve as the full-time coach for Derbyshire County Cricket Club in addition to being available on-site for a limited number of assignments.
Fans have reacted differently to the PCB’s decision, and former captain Shahid Afridi is still dubious about Arthur’s potential comeback as a “online coach.” Fans have taken to social media in droves to make memes about the circumstance.

It is unlikely that Arthur will travel with the Pakistani side to Sri Lanka in July or to the Asia Cup in September. But he must be present in person to lead Babar Azam & Co. after the county season is completed. But Arthur is anticipated to be a member of the coaching staff for the ODI World Cup later this year.
Afridi isn’t really taken with this setup, though. Regarding Arthur’s potential hiring as a “online coach,” Afridi stated: “Every era has the personal preferences of the captain to support Pakistan cricket, thus the idea of online coaching by a foreign coach for the national team is incomprehensible. In order to give the aspiring players the greatest instruction, grassroots work will be required.”
