In recent and a very terrible development, a mosque in Pakistani city Peshawar dealt with a ground breaking bomb blast which has put the whole country on red-alert. According to trusted sources of Pakistan, there were 33 deaths and 150 other victims have been wounded as a result of the dynamite which took place at 1:40 PM.
Another source revealed that there was a Bomb carrier who blew himself alongside hundreds of people. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called the act a Suicide attack and this will definitely raise concerns once again on the country’s security front which saw them not being able to play bilaterals at home soil.
The attacker was in fact on the front row of the mosque during the prayer. After the news broke out, present and former Pakistani cricketers came out to show their disagreement on the same. All of them condemned this tragic event and prayed for the welfare of the country.
Devastating news from Peshawar. 💔
My sincere condolences to the families of departed souls and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured ones. May Almighty have mercy on our beloved country.

The location of the blast meanwhile (Peshawar) is an area which is very near to the Afghanistani borders. There were more of Police casualty than normal people and TTP took responsibility of the incident. All of this is happening just weeks before the Pakistan Super League begins.
Security assurances will have to be checked in every stage to host one of the most popular events in the country but the latest suicide bombing could make certain foreign players change their stance from traveling to Pakistan.
“Terrorists want to create fear by targeting those who perform the duty of defending Pakistan. Those fighting against Pakistan will be wiped out from the face of earth.”
