Imran Khan was picked as the captain of Pakistan’s all-time ODI team, and the list also features other legendary players from Pakistan, such as Shahid Afridi, Wasim Akram, and others.
The inclusion of Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, and Babar as drinks boys, however, enraged Pakistan fans the most.

Shoaib Akhtar’s inclusion in the starting lineup was sought by certain fans, but supporters of Babar said that Babar was the best batsman Pakistan has ever produced and shouldn’t be left out of the team.
Babar Azam is a nice gentleman. He never speaks against others or doesn't make any controversy. I am not sure why somebody can hate him.

Another fan wrote “Babar is a nice gentleman and never speaks against anyone and seeks any controversy and I am not sure why some people hate him”ย
Babar have successfully guided his side towards the final of the Asia Cup and ICC T20 World Cup 2022 where they faltered against Sri Lanka and England but still under his leadership teams looks gelled as one unit.
It is anticipated that the PCB will name Micky Arthur as the team’s new head coach and that the new management committee will name three different captains for each of the three competitions. Journalists in Pakistan are also raising concerns about Babar, who is currently the all-format captain, and are calling for him to take the t20 format.
