Esports Update: Teams to watch out for this VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT)

Teams to watch out for this VCT

With the new split of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) just around the corner, teams from across the globe are gearing up for the inevitable. The teams in the Asia Pacific region in particular have gone through a lot of changes since the last stage of the VCT.

Today, we will be looking at some of the teams to watch from the APAC region that have undergone changes. We will be covering teams from three different sub-regions across the Asia Pacific in no particular order.

  1. ORDER

ORDER is back after a rough end to the last stage of the VCT. The roster missed out on a spot at the VCT 2022: APAC in the most dramatic fashion. ORDER went unbeaten into the finals of Oceania Tour: Stage 1 but faltered in the end at the hands of BONKERS.

However, the organization has learned from its mistakes and made the necessary changes. Over the course of the off-season, ORDER added Michael ‘WRONSKI” Wronski and Riley “rDeeW” Wilkinson into their roster. Both these players were the best performing players in the region during the last stage when it came to their respective roles.

The firepower that ORDER have assembled is hugely impressive. The current iteration of the team will only grow stronger with experience as they mount a challenge for APAC’s top spot.

VALORANT: A Historic LAN event in the field of Esports

  1. Galaxy Esports

Galaxy Esports is bringing the heat to the MY/SG region this split of the VCT. The organization signed the old No Namers roster after their historic run in the last stage. The team originally was an unsigned roster that managed to best some of the region’s best and qualify for the VCT 2022: APAC.

The roster led by Felipe “skye” Skye Lim is no slouches to the big stage. The team will surely want to repeat their performance from the last split under the new banner. The roster stacked with as much talent as Galaxy Esports is definitely not underestimated.

  1. BLEED Esports

BLEED Esports are looking as strong as ever. The international roster based in Singapore finished third in the region’s last stage of the VCT. The team narrowly missed out on a spot at VCT 2022: Masters Reykjavik at the hands-on XERXIA.

The organization decided to stick to its current roster and resigned Lee “LEXY” Jun Hao Xavier. The management also decided to overhaul the background staff at the organization signing a news analyst for the roster.

BLEED Esports will look to strive harder than ever as they look to take the top spot in the region. It is definitely one of the teams that you should be watching this split of the VCT.
