Indian Esports Update: The recent broadcasting of Penta Amateur League recorded more than 7.6 Lakh Viewership

Penta Esports, an organization who are known for working in the domain of content and esports brand and focussing on developing grassroot esports programme for aspiring players.

Taking a step ahead in this process they have recently organized a league known as “Penta Amateur League” which recorded more than 7.6 Lakh viewership and overall watch time is more than 34 Lakh minutes.

Their aim is to reach at tier 2 and tier 3 cities, and the platform will be provided to amateur players to shape their career as esports athletes.

Taking more the league, the first season of the league started on October 2021 and concluded in March 2022 and total prize of whooping amount Rs30,00,000  was distributed in prize pool.

Multiple esports titles were at stake-World Cricket Championship 3, Gran Turismo Sport, Valorant, Battlegrounds Mobile India, Free Fire, Pokemon Unite, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Tekken 7, Clash Royale and Brawl Stars.

The league had 76 matches and 24 days of broadcasting where they designed a show called “Penta talk Show” which shattered all the broadcasting records of last month.

The matches were broadcasted on different social media platforms- Facebook, Loco, Youtube and Booyah and total broadcasting peak current viewership was close to 6,853.

Social media engagement across post related to this competition was 24 % on different platforms.

This will give further impetus to the growing esports ecosystem of India and contribute to sector growth.”

Said Penta Esports co-founder and head of esports Kiran Noojibail, “Our objective with Penta Amateur League was to incentivize esports enthusiasts to start and continue their grind to becoming an esports athlete irrespective of the game and platform. We are ecstatic with the response for Season 1 and plan to announce Season 2 of the league in the coming weeks.”

The entire scheduling and registration of the competition was done on Penta Esports platform and  the vision for which they are working  is to bring holistic approach towards the sector, which include-leagues, tournament and content.
