Arch-rivals India and Pakistan’s diplomatic ties have worsened, which has had a significant impact on cricket.
India and Pakistan’s most recent encounter was a nail-biter, as Virat Kohli used a spectacular performance with the willow to lead India to win over Pakistan.
The announcement of the Asian Cricket Council is related to the most recent disputes between the two neighboring countries.
Thank you @JayShah for unilaterally presenting @ACCMedia1 structure & calendars 2023-24 especially relating to Asia Cup 2023 for which 🇵🇰 is the event host. While you are at it, you might as well present structure & calendar of our PSL 2023! A swift response will be appreciated. https://t.co/UdW2GekAfR

The match for the future Asia Cup between India and Pakistan in September 2023 was announced by Jay Shah, the current president of the Asian Cricket Council and secretary of the BCCI, however the location has not yet been determined.
Jay Shah’s failure to name Pakistan after Pakistan was chosen to host the major event infuriated PCB Chairman Najam Sethi, who vented his frustration on Twitter with the message Jay Shah should also announce the PSL 2023 schedule.
When speaking to various media sites, Najam Sethi stated that there had been no official contact with the PCB on this statement.

Asian Cricket Council refuted the unfounded claims made by PCB in a new statement they issued in reaction to that accusation.
At a meeting on December 13, 2022, the Asian Cricket Council Development Committee and the Finance and Marketing Committee approved the calendar that the current ACC President had provided.
All cricket boards, including the Pakistan Cricket Board, received the email on the debate, but no response was received from them.
The version of Mr. Sethi on many media platforms is false.
