Aakash Chopra has a piece of advise for Indian Batter KL Rahul days ahead of LSG's second IPL Campaign!

Cricket Broadcaster Aakash Chopra had bright as well as words of advice for India’s wicket-keeper batter KL Rahul. He is also the captain of IPL outfit Lucknow Super Giants who made their debut last season and they had an amazing first season as they finished in the Top 4.

They finished 3rd in the league standings and also sealed their spot in the play-offs, however, they failed to go through to the Final after LSG lost to RCB in the eliminator match. In the new season, LSG will be hoping for a good outing this season and KL Rahul will once again be the catalyst.

His current form is not as good as they would be hoping for. Broadcaster Aakash Chopra has shared his thoughts on the same and said that Rahul will be hands down LSG’s best batter. “With your eyes closed, you can say that LSG’s highest run-scorer will be KL Rahul. He is brilliant and is also the team’s heartbeat.”

Chopra also mentioned about the pressure situation KL Rahul has on himself and said the batter is not under any such pressure but if the 30-year-old doesn’t score runs then there could be a problem. “But right now he is under some pressure, not that he has to prove anything to anyone. But if he doesn’t score runs, then it will be an issue.”

The 30-year-old displayed some form during the recently concluded three-match ODI series between India and Australia, despite being under a lot of pressure. In the first ODI, Rahul scored an unbeaten 75 off 91 balls as India successfully chased down a 189-run target, achieving 191/5 in 39.5 overs. Australia was initially knocked out for 188 in 35.4 overs.

However, the wicket keeper-batter faltered once more in the second ODI, being dismissed by Mitchell Starc for nine runs off 12 deliveries as India lost by ten wickets. Meanwhile, in the final ODI, he batted cautiously for 32 runs off 50 balls as India failed to bring down a 270-run target and were bowled out for 248 in 49.1 overs.
