Watch This former Off-spinner cast his backing on this Ex-Captain of India ahead of the Border-Gavaskar trophy!

One of the most famous rivalries in world cricket is about to resume from tomorrow as Australia’s tour to India for the Border-Gavaskar trophy begins from tomorrow onwards. A lot has been happening in the build up to the tournament as former and current Aussie-Indo cricketers have thrown verbal jabs on and on.

While the Baggy greens have complained about the pitches in India, the hosts have said it is nothing but a part of their mind games strategy. All of the questions will be answered from tomorrow as both the teams lock horns for the first test scheduled to get underway at Nagpur.

Meanwhile, former Indian Off-spinner and World cup winner Harbhajan Singh joined the roster of verbal jabs as he provided his thoughts ahead of the marquee event. He offered support to former Indian captain Virat Kohli and delivered his ultimate prediction.

The Turbanator said that if India are to win the series by a good margin then Virat Kohli will have to come forward and take the responsibility in case Rohit Sharma and other batters don’t contribute. The former off-spinner said that Kohli should remain intact with his set template and go ballistic against the aggressive Aussie bowling unit.

The star Indian batter broke his Century drought last year against Afghanistan in Asia Cup T20 and since then, the 34-year-old struck 3 Centuries in ODI’s against Bangladesh and Sri-Lanka in the space of 1 month. And just like every fan of his, Harbhajan hopes Kohli can replicate the same form in red-ball cricket and break his century drought in the longest format.

“I think this is the series where Virat Kohli’s bat will speak vociferously. When he starts going, we know he won’t stop. If India want to play well in this series then the run machine will have to take the onus and score big runs. Just forget what happened in the past. Whatever the fault was in the technique has now been left behind. Everything is ok (and) Virat Kohli is back in form.”
