This Pakistani Cricketer claims he is better than Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli

Undoubtedly, Virat Kohli is the best batter of his time. Kohli lately rediscovered his magic touch and is back to his best after a slump with the bat. In the Asia Cup against Afghanistan last year, Kohli, who hadn’t scored a hundred for more than three years, finally broke his century drought. It was his first century in T20Is. The 35-year-old hasn’t looked back since, blasting three hundreds in his last seven ODI appearances.

He needs three more ODI centuries to tie Sachin Tendulkar, a former Indian batsman who currently holds the record for the most tonnes in the format with 49.

Pakistani cricketer Khurram Manzoor has recently asserted that Kohli’s record in List A cricket is inferior to his. Khurram Manzoor, who has played for Pakistan in 16 Tests, 7 ODIs, and 3 T20Is, was recently questioned about a claim he had made about his List A numbers being superior to Kohli’s.

Manzoor, who last represented Pakistan in 2016, made it clear that his goal was to highlight his accomplishments in domestic cricket rather than to draw comparisons to the former India captain.

Manzoor said ”I am not comparing myself with Virat Kohli. Fact is, in 50-overs cricket, whoever are there in the top-10, I am the world no.1. As Kohli scores a century every six innings, he is behind me. A world record for century scoring occurs every 5.68 innings for me. My average over the past ten years has been 53, and I am currently rated fifth worldwide in List A cricket.

If compared between the formats, then international format is the biggest of all formats and Kohli is being at the peak in international cricket which naturally shows Kohli’s class and position. Kohli is much better in comparison to further any of the batters.

Manzoor also claimed that despite constantly scoring runs in domestic cricket, national selectors ignored him.
