This Former Pakistan Cricketer said 'No Indian player should play in PSL'

No Indian player should compete in the Pakistan Super League, according to former wicketkeeper for the Pakistan cricket team Kamran Akmal (PSL). Akmal responded that the BCCI made a wise choice by forbidding Indian cricketers from competing in any T20 league other than the Indian Premier League when asked about their potential participation in the competition (IPL). The Indian Board is financially stable to make that decision, according to Akmal, who is now the head coach of PSL team Peshawar Zalmi.

On the “Nadir Ali Podcast” YouTube channel, Akmal stated that “Indian players should not play in the PSL.”

“By forbidding Indian players from participating in international T20 leagues, the Indian board is acting morally. They are aware that there is a lot of international cricket as well as the IPL, which lasts for two months. They don’t need it, thus zaroorat nahi hai. The players don’t need to participate in other leagues because their financial situation is so stable, Akmal said during the conversation.

The former Pakistani cricketer also requested that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) take note of the BCCI‘s position and manage their players’ workloads accordingly.

“Because to the fact that it can extend athletes’ careers, our board can also benefit from it. We only have two or three players with more than 100 Test match appearances, compared to 14 or 15 for them. India is proud of its cricket and its players. The IPL compensates its athletes well. The Australian Big Bash League, or BBL, pales in comparison to the IPL. The IPL is unmatched by any league in the globe, “Akmal came to an end.
