Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq came into the spotlight several times in the last few months due to his bold claims involving Indian cricket and their players. In a recent interview, he struck once again as he claimed a team of the best players from the Indian Premier League will be easily defeated if they face a team of the best players from the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

It can be a team to watch out for if the best XI from both tournaments is made. However, the former Pakistan all-rounder is confident that the PSL team will have the upper hand.

“If a team of the best players from the Indian Premier League faced a team made-up of the best players from the Pakistan Super League, the PSL team would win,” he said.

Meanwhile, Razzaq also made some controversial remarks in the recent past, including calling India’s premium fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah a ‘baby’ bowler.

“I have played against great bowlers like Glenn McGrath and Wasim Akram, so Bumrah is a baby bowler in front of me and I could have easily dominated and attacked him,” he said.

Many former Indian cricketers didn’t make the statement too well including former all-rounder Irfan Pathan, who replied instantly to Razzaq.

“Irfan jese bowlers hamari gali gali mein paae jate hay par jab jab ye galli bowler inke samne khela har baar inki gilliyan nikal ke rakh di. Request to all fans not to pay any heat to those unnecessary over the top statements. Just read and :)” he tweeted.irfan-pathan-hits-out-razzaq-on-bumrah

Razzaq also made a statement on the Indian captain Virat Kohli. He believes Kohli is nowhere near Sachin Tendulkar’s quality and insisted that we are not seeing the same world-class players that they played against.

“We are not seeing the same world-class players that we played against say between 1992 to 2007. T20 cricket has changed the game. There is no depth in bowling, batting or fielding. It is all basic now,” Razzaq said.
