Spencer Dinwiddie names his All-time Starting five, included Kobe Bryant

Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie had recently hit the headlines with his tweet last week proposing a new idea of the playoffs, to which many fans responded with high hopes, expecting the league to resume at the earliest.

Dinwiddie has always been an expressive person on social media, putting his opinions in front of his fans on various occasions. Since the NBA has been suspended until further notice, he has been much more active than usual on social media. Dinwiddie also began a discussion on Twitter that uncovered exactly how many players are taking a gander at their own feature reels.

On Monday, the Brooklyn Nets point guard got in on another discussion. He gave his verdict on the tweet sent by the ESPN to him with the two lineups of the teams offered by them.

The lineups are as follows:

Team A: Steph Curry, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Shaquille O’Neal

Team B:  Kyrie Irving, Michael Jordan, Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant, and Tim Duncan

Spencer Dinwiddie picked Team A and also explained as he tweeted, “Best starting 5 all time. LBJ, KB, MJ, KD, Shaq”.

A fan also tweeted as he suggested swapping Tim Duncan with the Greek freak Giannis Antetokounmpo, would create the greatest five-man starter, the Nets guard disagreed and shared his own dream starting lineup that swaps Michael Jordan and Kevin Durant in for Giannis and Steph.

It’s not astounding that Spencer Dinwiddie, an L.A. local boy, included Shaq and Kobe in his own best beginning five. In fact, in December, Kobe told Dinwiddie he thought he was playing like an All-Star“— a praise Dinwiddie said meant everything to him.

As the NBA is just in the early stages of at least of months spanning suspension, amid the coronavirus pandemic, fans can expect their social feeds to be more and more consumed by hypothetical NBA history debates such as this one by their favourite players.
