Shaw Smashes Unbeaten 125 as Northamptonshire Thrashes Durham in Royal London One-day Cup

Indian star batter Prithvi Shaw continued his red-hot form with a blistering century as Northamptonshire cruised to a six-wicket victory over Durham in the One-Day Cup on Sunday.

Shaw smashed 125 off just 76 balls, including 7 sixes, as Northants chased down a modest 198 with ease. The opener was in scintillating form from the start, hitting boundaries and sixes at will. He reached his century in just 63 balls, the fastest by a Northants batsman in the One-Day Cup.
Rob Keogh provided good support with a 42-ball 42, as Northants reached the target in just 25.4 overs.

Earlier, Durham were restricted to 198 in 43.2 overs. Luke Procter was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets for 34 runs.
The win is Northants’ third in four matches in the One-Day Cup. They are now second in the North Group, behind Warwickshire.
