Sir Don Bradman is widely acknowledged as the greatest cricketer ever to have played the game. Today, on 27th August 2020, the world celebrates his 112th birth anniversary. Several former as well as current cricketers paid tribute to the legendary batsmen. Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar too took to Twitter and remembered the iconic Australian batsman for his batting prowess in world cricket.
Sachin Tendulkar uploaded a picture with Sir Don Bradman and praised him for his unmatchable batting average. He called Sir Don Bradman as one of the biggest inspirations for the young athletes.
“Sir Don Bradman was away from Cricket for several years due to World War II, yet has the highest Test batting average. Today, with concerns about athletes’ form due to uncertainties & long breaks, his career stands even taller as a source of inspiration. Happy birthday Sir Don.” Sachin Tendulkar wrote in his Tweet.
