Real Reason revealed behind India’s exclusion at PMGC 2022 Grand Finals in detail

In a recent development in reference to PUBG Mobile Esports it was revealed that no Indian Teams will be taking part in this marquee event.

It was sad news for Indian esports community, as fans expected that 16 slots available in PMGC where 15 slots were already filled the last slot will be taken by Indian Team but all the speculations died down as the game of BGMI no longer exist in India as the popular gaming ecosystem is banned due to security reason.

Developer Tencent stated that initially three teams were invited for the final but the count now has been reduced to two as the news disappointed lot of Indians who were hoping to see an Indian squad to compete at the Global Championship.

This will be second time no Indian team will not compete in PMGC(Pubg Mobile Global Championship) where the first occasion being PUBG which was banned in 2020 in India.

However Krafton recently stated that they are working hard to resolve the issues so that this popular game can make comeback in the country.

Let us explain the format on which PMGC will be based in the format below:

PUBG Mobile Global Championship

1. 9 Teams have qualified from three groups of the League Stage

2. Two specially invited teams will be gracing finals.

3. Top 5 teams will compete from the last chance stage of the Championship.

The Grand final of this marquee event will be held from January 6th to 8th January 2023 in Jakarta,Indonesia.
