1. Chandran Ranjit completes 500 raid points in PKL career – Gujarat Giants captain Chandran Ranjit became the latest player to reach the mark of 500 raid points last night during his side’s clash against table toppers Puneri Paltan. No one would have expected the score line to go in favor of Gujarat Giants as they won the match by a margin of 12 points. Almost every player in their team clicked at the right moment with Raider Sonu grabbing 6 points. All-rounder Parteek Dahiya stole the show to collect 19 raid points and veteran Chandran Ranjit added 5 raid points to take his overall PKL tally to 502 raid points.

2. Haryana’s main raider Manjeet Dahiya also completed 500 career raid points in PKL – One of the strongest if not the strongest link in Haryana SteelersManjeet Dahiya achieved 500 raid points in Pro Kabaddi League since his first participation in 2018. With only 4 matches to play, Haryana will have to win all 4 of them but the play-off spot is still not guaranteed for them. Their inconsistency has played a major role behind their unsuccessful season especially their defense. However, one of the brightest prospects this season has been Majeet Dahiya, who has been a little inconsistent too but he has also helped Haryana win several matches on his own.

3. Puneri Paltan suffer their first defeat after a winning streak of 5 matches – Table toppers and PKL trophy contenders, Puneri Paltan were on a run of 5 matches unbeaten and they were looking to register another win last night to extend that run but Gujarat Giants came all guns blazing and produced an upset. The Maharashtra outfit would have hoped for a better defensive display as they maintained a tackle success rate of 34.21% but their raiders did a decent job with Akash Shinde, Aslam Inamdar and Pankaj Mohite collecting 9,6 and 7 raid points.
