Pep Guardiola pledges to remain at Manchester City despite Premier League's corruption charges against the club!

Manchester City’s Catalonian head coach Pep Guardiola has become the 2nd most successful manager in the English Premier League era and last Sunday he also became the first manager since Sir Alex Ferguson to win the EPL three times in a row.

City’s triumphant 2022/23 EPL season means that the Manchester based outfit has now won the competition 5 times in the last 6 years. No other manager in the league has been so successful in that period of time and the season is still not over for Pep Guardiola and his side.

The Sky Blues are chasing 2 more trophies this season – the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League to complete a Treble this season, something an English club hasn’t achieved since Manchester United in 1999. Guardiola’s style of play has looked absolutely flawless this year and the presence of number 9 Erling Haaland has also made them an unstoppable force.

The Cityzens have scored the most number of goals in the Premier League this year and they will attain a legendary status if they win the UCL.

But even before Man City won the PL and reached the finals of FA Cup and UCL, the English Premier League authority had imposed 100+ corruption charges against City. If the allegations are true then City will stripped off their PL trophies and can also get relegated.

This news came as a shockwave and many suggested that it is the beginning of Manchester City’s downfall. Some people also suggested that their head coach Pep Guardiola will also leave the club if the allegations are true. However, during a press conference, the Spaniard made it very clear that he will stay next season without any doubts and also remained faithful that City haven’t done anything wrong.

“I will stay next seasonI will stay. When 100 breaches from the Premier League against us, don’t worry, we will be there. What I would like is for the Premier League, or the judges, to make [a decision] as soon as possible.” – Guardiola said.
