Pat Cummins donates $50,000 to PM Cares relief fund to fight COVID-19 in India

Australian pacer and KKR speedster Pat Cummins is winning the hearts of people on social platforms after he shared a post on Twitter where he stated that he has donated $50,000 dollars in PM relief fund to fight against the second wave of COVID-19 in India.

This came as surprise as people expected Indian cricketers to donate at this time especially when the country is facing an acute Oxygen crisis but the one coming from an Australian cricketer is a surprise for all Indian fans.

Cummins wrote a long message where he stated that he loves India a country who comes across as one of most nicest people that he has ever met across the globe.  He supported the voice of the Indian government who believes that conducting IPL amid this pandemic time will bring smile on the face of all Indians who are facing tough time as a nation.

He also added that he is feeling helpless at this time however believes that this amount will certainly make difference in the live of some individual.

It will be interesting to see whether Indian cricketers would also take initiative and donate some amount in these difficult times.

Taking about Cummins individual form in the ongoing season of IPL 2021 where he has averaged 27.33 with the  willow in hand and scored his runs at a strike rate of 190.70.
