World Number 1 Tennis player Novak Djokovic entered in the semifinal of the ongoing French Open 2020 after defeating Pablo Carreno Busta by 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4 in three hours and 10 minutes encounter in the quarterfinals round. And now he will be playing his 10th Semifinal match at the Roland Garros.
“Well, I definitely didn’t feel great coming into the court today,” the Serbian admitted after the match.
“Few things happened in the warm-up. I had to deal with those physical issues coming onto the court. As the match went on, I felt better, didn’t feel as much pain.”
“But I don’t want to take away anything from his good performance. Especially for a set and a half, he was the better player, dictating the play. I was very neutral. I didn’t have much energy really happening in my legs or movement or game itself,” he added.

The World Number 1 will lock horns against Stefanos Tsitsipas in the next round who played superbly against Andrey Rublev in his quarterfinal clash and earned a victory through straight sets. The other match of the semifinal round is scheduled between Rafael Nadal and Diego Schwartzman. It is certainly evident that with the way Nadal and Djokovic are playing in the ongoing French Open 2020 we can see these two legends competing in the final for the French Open Title.
If Nadal wins this title it will be his 20th Grand Slam singles title whereas if Djokovic claims the title it will be his 18th Grand Slam singles title. If reports are to believed Nadal has an upper hand against Djokovic in French Open encounter by 6-1 in the favour of Spaniard.
