Utah Jazz won't trade Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell amid all the trade rumors

There have been many speculations and sparked rumours after Donovan Mitchell was infected with the coronavirus after his team-mate Rudy Gobert was tested for the deadly virus.

There had been rumours in the league surrounding Donoval Mitchell and Rudy Gobert with as both the players are not getting along well after both of them tested positive for the coronavirus that led to the suspension of the league.

Earlier, there had been a rumour that Utah Jazz would readily trade Rudy Gobert and extend a long-term with the young Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell is just 23 years old and already an All-Star and the team’s go-to offensive weapon, averaging 24.2 points per game this season.

The 27-year-old Gobert also made his first All-Star appearance this season and has been a two-times defensive player of the year, three-time All-Defensive selection and two-time All-NBA honoree, averaging a double-double of 15.1 points, 13.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game.

As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of the ESPN on March 12, Gobert was careless in the teams’ locker room as he touched other players and their belongings very carelessly.

Earlier this month, a new development surfaced that Mitchell is reluctant to fix what is already broken and a source said the relationship “doesn’t appear salvageable.”

However, after a few days, Taylor Rooks of the Bleacher Report stated that the relationship between Gobert and Mitchell has been improving and is in a positive place.

And now, the Utah Jazz are not planning of trading either of them has both of the players have been pivotal in the side’s good run this season. Due to their good play, Utah Jazz was at the fourth place in the Western Conference, just behind the Los Angeles Lakers, LA Clippers and Denver Nuggets before the season suspension.

This comes as good news for the Utah Jazz fans who love to see both the players playing for the side and winning the games. Because both the players’ presence has kept the Denver Nuggets in a position to lock horns with the Big Guns in the Western Conference.
