“He said few harsh words and …..” Phil Salt revealed heated argument with Mohammad Siraj in Yesterday’s encounter in IPL 2023

In cricket, aggressiveness is a fantastic thing, but excessive aggression can occasionally backfire. Mohammad Siraj experienced this, and it ultimately lost RCB the crucial match against Delhi Capitals.

Delhi had a huge target to chase as Royal Challengers Bangalore choose to bat first after winning the toss and made 181 runs while losing 4 wickets.

In the end, DC easily attained that goal as they capitulated to win the crucial match with 7 wickets in hand.

Siraj and Salt got into a fight in the middle of Delhi Capitals’ run pursuit, and Warner got involved, although from the outside, it didn’t appear necessary at all.

Finally Salt opened up his controversy involving Siraj as he stated “Siraj was continuously swearing on me. I simply told me your team should have scored most runs mate”

“I am very satisfied with the knock. Obviously, there was a little bit of a needle. Their boys were up for the last game when we were in Bangalore. So a lot of the pre-match chat was about really taking it to them, which I felt that we did really well. There were a few words and a bit of needle, but most blokes were up for it, certainly myself,” Salt said while talking to reporters in latest press conference.

“It was. I feel like if you take on a side’s best bowler a lot of the times and you win that particular battle, whether it’s the first over or any over that he bowls, the message that it sends back into the dugout is one of calm.“When that happens and you do it successfully, you see guys come out the way Mitch [Mitchell Marsh] did. Hit his second ball for six. You see Rilee [Rossouw] come out and bat like he’d already faced 30 balls. A sort of a method behind it,” Salt Concluded.

Eventually Warner also revealed their team strategy when it comes to chase to where he stated their target was to attack Siraj as he is frontman for RCB Bowling lineup which we did and we eventually chased down the target with ease.
