According to former English player and television pundit Lee Sharpe, Paul Pogba’s future is kind of unsure, however, there might be a sense of problems if he is ever to partner with Bruno Fernandes.

While the 26-year-old wishes for a fresh quest away from the Red Devils in the lead-up to last summer’s transfer window, however a transfer to Real Madrid didn’t ever work out.

Along with the Madrid’s, Pogba was also targeted by his former club Juventus, however, the player opted for some new challenges. Whereas, Fernandes has joined United from Sporting Lisbon during the January transfer window. His debut in the Premier League was a draw against Wolves.pogba

Pogba has been struggling off late with his injury issues throughout the season and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now left with minimum to zero options for the club and had to ultimately sign in Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes is a player with some pretty decent talent as a midfielder, and hence makes a suitable successor to Pogba, however former United and English player Lee Sharpe believes that the duo can form a victorious partnership if coach Solskjaer persuades Pogba to stay.

I think they [Fernandes-Pogba] would have a good partnership,” Sharpe told Sky Sports News.

“You would have to play them with someone who could do the defensive work. Fernandes is a natural forward-thinking midfielder.

“Going forward, I think they can cause all sorts of problems between them. It could be just what the United needs. It’s been really disappointing with no Pogba this season, I think they’ve really missed him.

“He’s got charisma on the pitch and the creativity he brings to the game – there’s a level of arrogance and ability that brings everyone up to Paul Pogba’s level.”
