European Nation pressure on FIFA to ban Russia from international football after ‘unacceptable’ ruling

Russia’s future in the World Cup is in danger as FIFA plans to allow it to play on neutral area were dismissed as “unacceptable” by other football associations 

FIFA had has already warned Russia Federation for its terror attack on Ukraine, However, FIFA decided to take action on this matter as they ordered Russia Federation to play home games at neutral stadium and FIFA also ordered that Russia’s national flags and national anthem would be banned at the stadium.

FIFA told Russian Football Federation that they should change their football team name rather than that would be known as the Football Union of Russia.

Within the official statement from FIFA, the Polish F.A. they will not play Russia in a scheduled World Cup playoff, regardless of the venue.

“Today’s FIFA decision is totally unacceptable,” Polish F.A. President Cezary Kulesza tweeted.

“We are not interested in participating in this game of appearances. Our stance remains intact: Polish National Team will NOT PLAY with Russia, no matter what the name of the team is.”

World Cup group stage draws will be in Qatar is set for April 1st. Meanwhile, European neighbor countries like Sweden and the Czech Republic have also denied to play against Russia.

“We have previously made it known that we do not want to face Russia under these circumstances (following the invasion) and this remains the case until further notice,” said Swedish F.A. President Karl-Erik Nilsson.

FA president also stated that he was “displeased” with FIFA’s decision.

The Czech FA added: “There will be no change in the Czech national team’s standpoint.”

French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet led wants Russia to be banned in the World Cup. France is the former world champion having won the 2018 tournament in Russia.

The English F.A. said their team will not play against Russia “out of harmony with Ukraine and to enthusiastic condemn the outrage being committed by the Russian Government

The Welsh F.A. said it would “stands in solidarity with Ukraine and feels extremely sadden to the recent attack in the country.”

On Friday, UEFA took a decision on cancelling Saint Petersburg’s Gazprom Arena to conduct Champions league final on May 28 and will be held at PSG home stadium Stade de France in Paris.
