Cricket Fans Genius Hack to Save Money at IND vs PAK World Cup 2023 Will Blow Your Mind

World Cup 2023

India and Pakistan are gearing up for a highly anticipated showdown at the World Cup 2023 on October 15, set to take place at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. As excitement builds around this marquee clash, there has been an unexpected consequence – the surge in hotel room demand and soaring prices. Hotel accommodations in the vicinity of the stadium have skyrocketed to a jaw-dropping range of Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh. Adding to the challenge, reports have confirmed that hotel rooms are already fully booked.

However, amidst the escalating accommodation costs, ingenious fans from the cricket-crazed nation have devised a rather humorous solution to avoid paying exorbitant prices. According to recent reports, these fans are reaching out to hospitals situated near the stadium to reserve beds instead. Surprisingly, the cost of a single bed at these hospitals ranges from a mere Rs 3,000 to Rs 25,000 for a day’s stay, and to top it off, these rooms are designed for twin-sharing purposes – one for the patient and the other for an attendant to accompany them.

To justify their hospital stay, the fans are requesting full-body check-ups as a valid reason for their accommodation needs. Dr Paras Shah, the director of Sannidhya Multi Speciality Hospital in the Bopal area, shed light on this amusing trend, stating, “Since it’s a hospital, they are asking for a full-body check-up and an overnight stay so both of their purposes are fulfilled, saving money on lodging and getting their health check done.”

Dr Nikhil Lala, the Medical Director of Sterling Hospital, confirmed the growing interest in this peculiar approach and mentioned that they are even contemplating the introduction of a health package to meet the demand. He acknowledged that the influx of inquiries is due to the India vs. Pakistan game scheduled in October.

“We too are receiving inquiries for 24-48 hour stays at our hospital, particularly around October 15, as we also offer a full body check-up package. This is due to the upcoming World Cup India-Pakistan match scheduled on October 15. It seems other city hospitals are experiencing a similar situation. Therefore, we are considering the possibility of introducing additional health packages,” revealed Dr Lala.

With this unconventional tactic, cricket enthusiasts are ensuring they can witness the epic clash between India and Pakistan at World Cup 2023 without bearing the burden of exorbitant hotel costs. As the date draws near, the hospitals near the stadium are preparing to accommodate the influx of sports enthusiasts, all eager to cheer for their respective teams while availing themselves of this quirky and cost-effective lodging alternative.
