“These days, trolls openly make filthy comments about the wives of any celebrities or cricket players; even their daughters, ages 2 and 7, are not exempt. They mistreat them and post offensive content about them on social media. This has recently become popular. Following a complaint from the Delhi Commission For Women (DCW), Delhi police registered a FIR against unidentified persons for making vulgar comments about the daughters of Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni.

Whereas, DCW chairman Swati Maliwal has urged online trolls to stop or face jail time. Maliwal was states that “A person should not watch a cricketer or celebrity if they do not like them. However, some individuals pick on his family and make obscene remarks about his wife and daughter, which is completely unacceptable. Even a seven-year-old girl is not safe for small girls, “said the DCW director.

Delhi police is in full support of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni for the incident that took place and all of the offenders will be apprehended and put in jail very shortly.
