Amid the exciting club season, the International break will pause club football action as International friendlies and tournament qualifiers are all set to get underway. Top European nations will be in action from tomorrow onwards to seal qualification in the upcoming edition of the UEFA Euros 2024 at Germany.
Some high-profile clashes are in the cards and Italy will enter the qualifiers as the defending champions and hope to put their World cup 2022 disappointment to an end. 23 spots are up for grabs in the UEFA Euros and all the teams will look to begin their campaign on a high note.
Iceland and Bosnia-Herzegovina will play the opening match on Group J. In addition to three sets of six teams, there are seven groups of five teams. Croatia, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain, the four Nations League champions, have been placed in the smaller divisions.
In each of the 10 groups, the best two teams advance directly to Euro 2024. The other three sides will be selected through the Nations League play-offs, with Germany earning automatic qualification as the hosts. The divisions begin on March 23 and finish on November 21, 2023.
