KIGI is actively looking for early-stage startups and independent developers working on a variety of game genres, including mobile, PC, and console games. The incubator is also open to student teams and startups that are still at the ideation stage.

The launch of KIGI is a testament to Krafton’s commitment to the Indian gaming market. The company has already made significant investments in India, including setting up a local office and launching several popular games, such as Battlegrounds Mobile India and New State Mobile.

The Indian gaming market is one of the fastest-growing in the world, with millions of gamers across all ages and demographics. However, the local gaming industry is still relatively nascent, and there is a need for more support and investment.

KIGI is a significant step towards addressing this gap. By providing early-stage startups and developers with the resources and support they need to succeed, KIGI can help to accelerate the growth of the Indian gaming industry and create new opportunities for local talent.

In addition to boosting local talent, KIGI is also expected to help Krafton expand its reach in the Indian market and develop new games that are tailored to the local audience. The company has already expressed its interest in developing games based on Indian mythology and folklore.

The launch of KIGI is a positive development for the Indian gaming industry. It is a sign that global gaming giants are taking notice of the country’s potential and are willing to invest in its growth. With the support of KIGI and other initiatives, the Indian gaming industry is poised to reach new heights in the coming years.
