Krafton, the company behind the popular mobile game Battlegrounds Mobile India, has shown a strong commitment to upholding responsible gaming and fair competition. In a recent move, they decided to disqualify Stalwart Esports from BGIS 2023 (Battlegrounds Mobile India Series) due to violations of the rules outlined in the BGIS Rulebook. The violations committed by Stalwart Esports included breaking two key rules. Firstly, they violated section 2.1.5 of the BGIS Rulebook, which pertains to single team exclusivity. Secondly, Stalwart Esports was found guilty of “ringing,” as outlined in section 6.2.4 of the BGIS Rulebook. Ringing refers to a player competing using another player’s account or Gamertag, which undermines the integrity of the competition and provides an unfair advantage to the team involved.

As the governing body of BGIS, Krafton exercised its authority and enforced the penalty stipulated in section 6.4.2 of the rulebook, leading to the disqualification of Stalwart Esports.
