The reason PSG is stunned is because they were very confident that the 24-year-old is certainly going to renew the contract with them. The contract was initiated in May 2022, and the option was there to stretch the contract till 2024.
PSG has a suspicion that Real Madrid has made a pre-contract agreement with the French Footballer, and that is completely against FIFA regulations.
