The Indian men’s trap shooting team, comprising Darius Kynan Chenai, Zoravar Singh Sandhu, and Prithviraj Tondaiman, continued India’s dominant run in shooting at the Asian Games. They clinched the gold medal with a total of 361 points, establishing a new Asian Games record. Their exceptional performance surpassed the previous record set by Kuwait in 1994.

Kuwait and China on the Podium

Kuwait secured the silver medal in the men’s trap team event, falling just short of gold with 359 points. China claimed the bronze medal with a total of 354 points. India’s stellar performance not only earned them the top spot on the podium but also left a mark in the history books with their record-breaking achievement.

Mixed 10m Air Rifle Pistol Team Event

In another display of shooting prowess, the Indian duo of Sarabjot Singh and Divya Subbaraju secured a silver medal in the mixed 10m air rifle pistol team event on Saturday. Their combined total of 14 points narrowly missed out on the gold, which went to China with 16 points.
