Following their 3-0 series whitewash against India in the recently concluded three-match One-Day International (ODI) series, the Kiwi players dominated in the latest released International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI rankings.

Player of the series Ross Taylor made a giant leap to occupy the fourth position in the batting charts. Meanwhile, Kane Williamson occupies the eighth position.

Newly appointed South African skipper Quinton de Kock has gained two positions and moved to seventh place with 782 points, surpassing Williamson and England Test team captain Joe Root.

On the other hand, despite India’s 3-0 series loss, Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma remain at the first and second place with 869 and 855 points, respectively. Pakistan’s Babar Azam sits comfortably at the third spot with 829 ratings.

But the same was not the case for Indian bowlers as India’s premier bowler Jasprit Bumrah slipped from the first spot to the second spot. The top spot is now occupied by Kiwi speedster Trent Boult who was absent during India’s limited-overs series.
