Fantasy Premier League: Game Week 3 Selection

Fantasy Premier League Game Week 3: English Premier League is entering into third Game Week with Friday night action between Aston Villa and Everton. The next day would feature 6 games, wrapped-up by the big-game of the weekend, with table toppers Liverpool taking on second-placed Arsenal.

Manchester City would feature on Sunday, facing Bournemouth, while Spurs will take on a struggling Newcastle side. The final game of the weekend would feature Wolves hosting Burnley.

This would be a crucial game week for the FPL owners with potential of scoring high. Here’s a look at our team for the Gameweek:

Goalkeeper
Ryan (Brighton)

The Brighton goalie has been good thus far with 1 cleansheet. Brighton face Southampton at home and he could get the all-important clean sheet.

Defenders
Zinchenko (Manchester City)

Zinchenko has been good down the left, whipping-in crosses, while he also got shots on target. He could be a big point-getter in the Bournemouth game.

Montoya (Brighton)

The attacking full-back has been good for Brighton and offers chances of assists in addition to a potential clean-sheet with Southampton having scored just 1 goal in 2 games, that too coming off a goalkeeper’s error.

Lundstram (Sheffield United)

The Sheffield United defender got the winner against Crystal Palace. He also got created chances for his side, to add to the two dangerous ones he created on the opening weekend. Lundstram plays in the middle of the park and gets forward, providing a wonderful option to the FPL players.

Midfielders
Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)

The assist-king is leading the charts this season with 3 assists in the 2 matches. He got assists for both goals against Spurs and had 9 attempted assists, with 3 big chances. He has a total of 12 attempted assists and 5 big chances created. He shot at goal against Spurs 4 times with 2 shots on target.

Anthony Martial (Manchester United)

The Frenchman has been playing as the Number 9 after the departure of Kukaku and has found himself at the end of big chances. He has scored a goal in each of the games thus far and would have a strong chance to make it a hattrick when they host Palace.

Raheem Sterling (Manchester City)

Sterling has got 4 goals in 2 games and looks the most dangerous City player in front of goal. He would be itching to be among the goals yet again and guide City to a much-needed win.

Eric Lamela (Tottenham Hotspur)

Lamela got a goal and an assist on the weekend and was impressive with his creative play. Newcastle’s defence has been caught out several times and the
Argentine would be a threat to this Newcastle defence.

Sadio Mane (Liverpool)

Sadio Mane has been Liverpool’s, and the league’s top goalscorer in 2019. He has scored in both of the games he has played thus far and has been the chief creator as well. He will be a bigger threat than Salah.

Forwards
Raul Jimenez (Wolverhampton Wanderers)

The Wolves striker almost got a goal against Manchester United with a brilliant header, and will be a big danger for Burnley side, playing at home. He was also among the goals in Europa League Qualifier, scoring 4 goals.

Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

The English forward got 2 goals against Aston Villa and looking at Newcastle’s defence, will be a big threat for the Magpies. The prolific striker got 24 goals and 6 assists in all competitions last season.
