The news of his engagement spread like a wildfire on social media and many of his fellow teammates congratulated the couple by commenting on their photos. Indian skipper Virat Kohli extended his wishes and noted that he was taken by surprise. However, he concluded by saying that he wishes nothing but happiness for the couple.

“Congratulations H. What a pleasant surprise. Wish you guys great times ahead. God bless,” Kohli wrote on Instagram.

Other than cricketers, the netizens had a lot to say about the cricketer’s big day. The news was met with a lot of positive comments from users across various social media platforms.

Hardik Pandya brother has been out of the game due to back injury he suffered last year. The right-hand batsman underwent surgery and is now keeping up well. Pandya’s last game for the Men in Blue came against South Africa in September last year.

It is highly likely that he would make a comeback in the team for the upcoming tour of New Zealand. The Indian team would surely need the services of Hardika Pandya this year because the management would want their ace all-rounder to have his mojo back before the T20I World Cup starts in Australia later this year.
